We are currently arranging, in
conjunction with the government of another European Country, to bring a group of
eight Olive Baboons (top left) and a Green Monkey (bottom
left) to Cefn-yr-Erw. They were rescued by the government
inspectors, who are now seeking the specialised care for them that we are able to provide at the sanctuary.
These animals will spend their first six months at Cefn-yr-Erw in our custom built quarantine facility and we have already begun to construct new permanent quarters to accommodate their longer term requirements. |

We continue to monitor news items and keep in touch with our contacts around the World in a constant vigil to reduce animal cruelty and to offer long term solutions wherever possible. The costs can be significant and in the end a satisfactory outcome is not always possible, leaving us to count the cost of failure, but overall our success rate has been very encouraging and the rewards are here, at Cefn-yr-Erw, for visitors to see and enjoy. |
